Drabinski-Zurawska: The earliest known ancestor is believed to go back to Izbica Kujawska in the late 1790’s in the person of Michal Drabinski who married Trane Ickiewicz (daughter of Iciek and Bajla Itta Ikiewicz). The second of at least 6 children was Solomon (Shlyama Yankel) Drabinski,1817-1896 who was Ken’s GGGF.. Solomon’s siblings were Marya Sura (Wolek Citron) ~1816 Sore Udela 1825, Juda (Shulem Jakubowski), Ezryl Mordka D. ~1830, and Laya Sore (Abram Fiszel). Children of these 6 siblings married into the following families: Henig, Wesolowski, Kowalska, and Zelinski.
Ken’s GGF Jacob Meyer Drabinsky born May 20, 1842- ~1898, was the son of Solomon Drabinsky and Haya Makovski however the town of birth is unclear but it appears to begin with the letter “P”, possibly nearby Przedecz.
